Fire in the workplace is a serious threat with the potential to cause loss of life, injury, damage to property and damage to the environment. In addition to the initial impact of the fire there is the ongoing and serious risk of loss of business, be it temporary or permanent and the inevitable insurance premium increase that will follow. Did you know, however, that most fires in the work place are preventable?
The importance of fire safety in the workplace and working environment is underpinned by our current health an safety legislation. This legislation places a duty of care on employers to ensure, so far as is "reasonably practicable", the health, safety and welfare of it's employees and others. This can be achieved by having sound emergency practices and procedures in place, supported by appropriately trained personnel to assist in emergency situations.
Our Fire Safety Training Level 2 course sets the foundation standard in fire safety training and is designed to help organisations and companies meet their legal requirements.
