Course Joining Instructions
These course joining instructions will provide you with the information you require to attend any of the First Safety Training Courses. Please ensure you read the course joining instructions carefully as they will contain safety training information about the course.
Location and Venue
Unless otherwise stated or arrange by your company, your safety training course venue will be the South Fens Business Centre, Fenton Way, Chatteris, Cambridgeshire, PE16 6TT. Telephone number 01354 691620. The South Fens Business Centre is located just off the A142 Isle of Ely Way. Please see the Map for further details. On-site and disabled parking is available.
Arrival
Please ensure your car is parked in a recognised bay and secured. You will be met by a member of the training staff at the reception desk where you will be asked to complete the attendance/fire register and shown around the facilities to orientate you.
Timings
All of our safety training courses start at 08.30 am. Please ensure that you arrive promptly, allowing for traffic, adverse weather conditions etc. Candidates turning up late for training, may not be admitted to the safety training course if there is insufficient time remaining to enable the candidate to achieve the course objectives.
Please note the contact number for the training office. If you are running unavoidably late, then please phone ahead and let the office staff know. Please only use the phone if safe to do so and NOT whilst driving unless hands free.
Dress
All of our First Aid courses will involve you moving around on the floor. Please ensure that you wear comfortable and appropriate clothing and footwear. Unless otherwise indicated or for safety reasons, all other courses the appropriate dress should be clean casual.
Books and Pens
All reference material, training aids and equipment required to pass the safety training courses will be provided by us. This will also include any specialist clothing or equipment.
Special Dietary Requirements
If your course includes lunch and you have any special dietary requirements please let us know as soon as possible.
